Payment Policy

*A 50% deposit of the starting price is required to reserve your date and start the sketching process. Allow up to 5 days to receive a digital sketch. The “Starting Price” includes; cake size, icing and one layer of fondant. The final price depends on the overall design. The remainder of payment is due no later than “7 business days before” the event. Your order should be “paid in full” one week prior to delivery.

The deposit is refundable 30 or more days before the event, minus a 25% transaction fee for consultation services rendered. Allow up to “30 day” to receive refund.

Late or No payment is subject to cancellation. Late payments may result in substitutions or modifications to the original design. A $25 late fee will be applied to the remaining balance. Cancellations received on or within 29 days of the event date is not subject to refund. If order was placed under 29 days you are Not Eligible for a refund.

We recommend that you have a budget in mind when requesting a quote so we can build a cake base on your needs. All budgets are welcome!

Our cakes are quoted with a “Starting Price” which means its the beginning of the price range from the cake’s size you choose. The starting prices include the cake, icing and one layer of fondant. After receiving the starting price we can move forward to discussing all the details you wish to include in the design.

There is additional fees for add-ons such as Edible sculpted Characters, Animal, Makeup, Flowers, Fruits, Crown, Baby Shoes, Heels, Toppers, Images, etc. Each item is priced differently, depending on the size and difficulty.

Our popular 3D sculpted cakes are priced based on the size and difficulty of the design. Further information will be discussed when inquiring.

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION***

Marylin’s Sweet Cakes LLC “DOES NOT” copy a photograph or other bakers work. Also, we do NOT provide any types of Toys. When providing a photo it is to showcase the inspiration. Unless it’s our own design. We create unique designs for each customer base on the color scheme, theme and additional requests by the client.
